Hey there, Fuzzies, I'm Cobalt the Malamute! My mate and I are in the Plano area and currently looking to set up a bi-weekly to monthly furmeet for the purposes of meeting local furs, forging new friendships, and just having fun all-around. We plan on meetings and events, as well as cons, and want to set up a community for us all if possible. I'm currently working on posting this to every site I know to try and get the word out to as many local furs as possible, and any help you can give on spreading the word would be greatly appreciated. First and foremost, we want a drama-free and judgment-less environment. All ages, genders, sexes, weirdos and normies are welcome. We don't care what you do, we don't care what you are. You are welcome. We want an environment that is friendly to everyone, and we want to leave nobody out. This means no rumor spreading by jealous/bitter exes! Our first meet will almost certainly be at a large nature preserve that's easily accessible from the George Bush, and just as easily from other non-tollways. Its free admission, of course, and open from 5 AM to 11 PM. Again, everyone is welcome from the shyest May-Be-a-Fur to the wildest Fur-Suit Enthusiast. Guys, I appreciate you even taking the time to read this, and if you could please just shoot me an email, I would be eternally grateful. Lets make memories together and make sure we always have people to talk to and get together with. Let's improve our lives and make each other just a little more happy in this world.

My name is Candace. I'm a furry artist and costumer. My sister moved to Dallas last year, so now I come down every few months to visit and help her out. I'm here until the second week in March. Since my sister works a lot, I was wondering if anyone in the area would like to hang out or just chat or something.

Why hello my lovely volunteers and con goers! This is your fabulous Volunteer Wrangler here to let you know that we need the assistance of you!
THURSDAY 2/23/12 3:00PM; we will begin unloading the truck and beginning to set up Furry Fiesta for the convention.
I would love to inform you all that any hours worked on Thursday are double hours!! which means double the time towards getting free registration for 2013!
So if you can, or are able please drop by the con hotel THURSDAY 2/23/12 3:00PM and give us a paw!

I really want to go to Furry Fiesta (I even already secured the 25th off from Hell work), but since it would be the first con I'll be at, I don't want to go alone. I asked the only fur I know in real life to go with me (he went the last two years) but he's not really sure about going at all. So I'm wondering if I should cancel my plans if he doesn't feel like it, or risk going alone, or try meeting someone I can trust in the next two weeks. |

Hey there everyone! Can you believe it? Less than Three months left till Furry Fiesta 2012!
You know what that means don't you? It's time for volunteers again. That's right guys we need your help! This year we have changed a few things and improved just as many.
Our Volunteer Rewards for this year have changed some this year.
(5) Hours – You will be given a special Furry Fiesta volunteer trinkets!
(12) Hours – You will be given our Furry Fiesta 2012 T-shirt!
(15) Hours – You will be given the choice of either having a Free Attending Membership to Furry Fiesta 2013, OR the option of having the Furry Fiesta 2012 T-Shirt instead!
(20) Hours - as thanks for all your hard work you will receive both a Free Attending membership for Furry Fiesta 2013, AND our Furry Fiesta 2012 T-Shirt!
Also this year I'm doing a few new things for intensives to our fantastic volunteers!
For this year we have set up a fantastic Raffle for a --plays one-up music--

HOW TO GET INTO RAFFLE
So...curious how you get into this raffle? Well here it is!
For all our volunteers give 20+ Hours of your time at Furry Fiesta 2012, I will put all of the names into a hat and select ONE name from the hat and that winning person will receive instead of the free regular attending membership, will receive a Free Sponsor level attending membership for Furry Fiesta 2013.
Can't do that many hours? Well....
For all of our Volunteers who set up themselves as a volunteer for the convention Before the convention, and actually arrive to their designated areas at the specified times (4) Times and have confirmation for the staff member that you did in fact arrange the time before the convention then you will also be put into a separate hat and that winning person will also receive instead of the free regular attending membership, will receive a Free Sponsor level attending membership for Furry Fiesta 2013.
